I’m back at it power carving, wood turning, and having fun. It has been some time since I was physically able to really do some of the things that I love. I have a lot of fun projects planned, and I am looking forward to completing them with you. I have talked about this in other posts so I will not go into detail here, but I am feeling much better now.
I am doing more YouTube videos, and I really want to show a lot more carving. This will, hopefully, spark some ideas and interests for you, and I look forward to seeing what you create.
I am not going to draw this out much more, but I wanted to say, “Thank You” to all those of you who have patiently waited for me to get back at it. I love power carving wood turning, and having fun developing my own skills.
There are a lot of things that I will be doing especially carving on wood turnings. I am not a skilled wood turner, but I am really enjoying learning this new art form and skill. It is refreshing to spend time doing things that I really have to work for.
I find great satisfaction in trying, failing, and eventually succeeding. It is much the same thing I have had to do for so many years with my R.S.D. I have tried many things, failed at most of them, and eventually found success in many small and seemingly insignificant ways.
Power carving is one of those successes. I am a student of power carving first, and I still have much to learn. One of the first lessons I learned was that I needed to find a medium that I really got excited about and wanted to carve on. This has turned out to be wood turnings.
I hope you can also find the medium of carving that truly speaks to you and you enjoy your hobbies, and the process of learning new and exciting things.
